Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani woman born of an Russian father and a Hindu Indian mother. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father as well as an Indian father and a Russian mother. The choreographed show she performed at age 11 which aired on German television, transformed her into a Russian dancer and snow maiden. She graduated from high school at the age of 11 in New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. The classes she took in acting were at the HB Studios. She later moved on to pursue improvised comedy at the Groundlings School. She was created at the age of 13 in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) as well as Russian Olga (mother). The family moved together with their father to New York at the age of thirteen years old. She appears on FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was the most well-known character. She played a recurring character in The Following on Fox, The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
