Julie Chen Moonves, who was one of the initial hosts and moderators on The Talk (a Daytime Emmy Award winner talk show) was back on the air August 5 for the 22nd episode. It was only when she began writing that her true passion emerged. She also won an Emmy award for exceptional host of a talk show. The Talk examines contemporary events using the perspective of five female hosts. Chen Moonves hosted CBS News' early morning news broadcast The Early Show for a decade. She was the anchor for The Early Show as well as CBS Morning News. The CBS Television Network broadcasted a half-hour newscast in the early hours of the day. Chen Moonves also covered the conflict in Iraq and other significant stories, on The Early Show. Following the 9/11 attacks, she traveled to Cairo to conduct an interesting and informative interview.
